    hi ebryone does anybody know where i can get a cheap soldering iron in limerick and solder? ive checked a few places and they didnt have them? thanks in advance

    B&Q has a few different types. Expect around €25 upwards.

    I'd still go to Maplins if you really want the thing for electonic soldering. Ones in B&Q are a bit brutal.

    stay away from the soldering guns the heat's to high for boards, if ur serious about it ie doing circuit board's buy one that's able to use different heads and has a temperature setting saves hassle in the long run

    I bought one on ebay at a buy it now price of less than a tenner. Great value arrived within a week and still perfect a year later
