internet explorer connects but firefox and opera dont

    Basically in my college accommodation I can access the net with internet explorer but not with firefox or opera. Any ideas? its not the firewall because I turned it off and they still didnt work.

    Is it your machine?

    Any chance IE is using a proxy?

    Ya, my laptop, but firefox and opean work okay at ome s it must be the connection here. Am I right?
