    Hi,

    I have no idea is it possible and who to go with but can anyone suggest how/who to find the best car insurance.

    I crashed as a named driver a few months ago after 5 years of driving. 24 year old male.

    Is it possible to get 6 months insurance ?

    Yes of course its possible :D

    Grab the yellow pages and ring around

    You can pay it on a month by month basis

    are you not tied to your current insurer until teh mater is closed ie any claims etc. but to answer your Q yes you can get insured for 6 months.
