    Hi All,

Firstly, let me begin by saying I am a bit panicked here.

My computer has been infected with a Trojan Downloader: C:\\Windows\System\32\lopudgd.exe which also carries Spyware.Banker: C:\\Windows\System\32\AcroIEhelpe006.dll

Now from the little bit or research ive done it seems this virus is trying to extract banking details from my computer. ( I do alot of online banking )

I have tried malwarebytes and this picks it up but cannot remove it.

Anyway, I am going to re image the laptop later this evening to ensure it is gone.

My question is, should i be really worried here? I have used my credit card alot online...Has this virus managed to extract my details?

    Should i contact my bank?

Please any help here is needed urgently and is greatly appreciated.

    Cheers

Have you ever seen this automated forex

Yes I would be worried and its best to err on the side of caution

If this computer is ever used for on-line banking, I suggest you do the following immediately:

    1. Call all of your banks, credit card companies, financial institutions and inform them that you may be a victim of identity theft and to put a watch on your accounts or change all your account numbers.

    2. From a clean computer, change ALL your on-line passwords for email, for banks, financial accounts, PayPal, eBay, on-line companies, any on-line forums or groups you belong to.

Do NOT change passwords or do any transactions while using the infected computer because the attacker will get the new passwords and transaction information.

if you do a lot of online banking, i would put ubuntu on a dual boot and use linux to the online banking. There are a lot less viruses for liinux
