why? i was reading today about how the irish govermened led by w.t cosgrave just allowed people die of starvation because it was the way things are but 70 years before hand the british were criticised for not doing anything to help the irish. so whats the difference? nationalist propaganda?

i was reading today about how the irish govermened led by w.t cosgrave just allowed people die of starvation because it was the way things are but 70 years before hand the british were criticised for not doing anything to help the irish. so whats the difference? nationalist propaganda?
