USB Hard Disk Problem

Nort sure if this is the correct forum to be posting this in. Mods move if not. I have a plug and play lacie 500gb destop hard disk. I unplugged it last week to load something from a laptop onto it. Now it does not connect to my PC. Is it a USB problem? or HD problem. I know details are sparce but if anyone can point me in…

Does your pc detect the drive at all? you may need to remove the drive from the casing and either slave it to your pc hard drive to see if you can access the data or get an external usb HDD case and see if it works using that
