    Newcomers to photography seem to be encouraged to start with landscape work, which can be very difficult. Having spent several years practising with macro shots and mostly remaining within an urban setting, it might be time to try a wider canvas.

    Who are the most interesting landscape photographers working today?

    Also, I came across references to the best wide angle lenses to use and have noticed that it is considered "inexcusable" by some to use 50mm for landscape work.

    A thread (yet again) on favourite lenses for the job?
