I have a perfectly working hoover (barely used) sitting under my stairs, that I'd like to get rid of. I could bring it to a WEEE place, or ump it, but I'm wondering if any charities, good causes, etc. could do with it?

    Am in the clane/naas area.

Have you tried listing on Dublinwaste.ie - I've heard great things about people being bombarded with calls to take free stuff off people's hands.
