Friend mine though - male 22, driving 3 years, Navara 05, 1200 with FBD so maybe worth taking a look at them. Closest he got to it was Hibernian 2400.

No it's petrol. I'm 32 with full NCB. When they renewed it they wanted 5 something but I said that was too much so they immediately dropped it to 408. I got a quote from FBD shortly after which was €350 and it had open drive and breakdown so I'll likely be going with them next year.

I change companies most years, currently paying €560ish on a Forester 2.5XT, comp, open driving, protected bonus, €125 excess, with Hibernian. I have a Porsche 911 3.2 on a classic policy with the same company for €250 comp, agreed value €25k. There's no such thing as the cheapest ins co/broker for every risk, which is why I shop around every year.

1930 fully comp, 1.3 colt, 18yo male, full licence fully comp. With Quinn, best other quote i got was 3800. Madness

25,paying 1350 euro a year (comp) on a Octavia VRS with 3/4 years ncb

Policy is up for renewal next month, yayyyy, currently with AXA

I've only just started driving. I've 1.0l polo. I'm 25yrs old and I got mine from Hibernian for 1150euro. That was the best I could find having checked around. The worst quote I got was from Quinn direct and it was for 1550euro. Thats 3rd party fire and theft for both quotes.

im paying 1200 fully comp with AXA and im driving a ford focus 1.6. Im 22, fully licenced with 2 years ncb

Quinn actually matched 123 for me, or at least managed to alter it enough to get it lower somehow. 1700 on a 1.4 16v Panda with a fair few load factors (age, history, location).

Chill were a lot cheaper than Quinn/123 until a few months before renewal time!

Im paying 400 on a 1.4 daewoo lanos with quinn tpft
got quoted 1800 for fiat coupe turbo 2.0 seriously thinkin about it because for a honda 1.6 type r they wanted more lowest quote gotten on chill.ie

I switched to Quinn 2 years ago and my renewal is up next month. They quoted me 470 this year, which is up 20 from last years

After shopping around I got a few quotes ranging from 320 with Nononsence, 350 with Britton, to 366 with 123. Rang Quinn back and told them, they knocked 70 off my premium to make it 400. I told them I think that is still pretty steep and that I'll think about it...

Even at 400 its worth my while staying with them as I have my health insurance with them too, which means they also give me free house insurance (worth about 200).

But just for the principal of the matter, I'd like to get it down to about 380 and I'd be happy.

Also, for those that dont know, when you are doing an online quote with Quinn, factor in that Quinn charge 29 extra on top of your quote to include windscreen cover! Many other insurers automatically include this.

1.3 corolla 350 comp AIG through Munster Group. And that is with having to be considered with 0 driving experience because I was out of the country for too long.

Quinn told me quite abrubtly that they do not price match when I told them that I got a quote from 123.ie that was €100 cheaper than them last year, so I waved goodbye to them. This year QD quoted me €1200 when 123 was €450

my insurance is up next week too .....
22, female, 4yrs ncb, 2004 a3 2ltdi ..... best quote I got was for 630 fully comp , covers 3rd party on other cars etc through quoteme . ie for Zurich. I rang Zurich ( who im with already ) and they wouldnt drop it lower than 720 so I gotta change companies to stay with the same company pretty much !
    paid around 600 last year when i had a 04mini cooper !
