Is it definately P6500? Never seen that model number before tbh.

    The Penyrn T6500 is 2.1Ghz/800Mhz/2MB L2 Cache

I was thinking the same thing that it was a T6500 but I can't find any information on the intel site about it and some dells have it and toshiba laptops.

Its probably a different processor that has been rebranded to look like a newer model processor.

I asked the guy who has it on Ebay about it (he sells a lot of refurbished laptops mostly dells) and he couldn't give me an answer so I backed out of the deal due to that.

Google only throws up random laptops with this processor but no information about it apart from this Intel® Core2 Duo P6500 Processor (2.1GHz, 2Mb cache)

Could it be a regional naming issue?

No info behind it but it does seem to be used by HP for one example...
