as i recently found out, ive a lack of confidence

naturally i tried google for help and it comes up with loads of answers, but i think its better to ask people rather than to read it off some website plus the fact that if i did all that the website says id fear for my sexuality

    anyone any good tips?

Know this sounds corny - but I tried a few different activities - found some I really love and the more I do them the better I feel. Also the more I learn about them and the more I do the more stories I have to tell.
Means for me when I am in a group I no longer have to sit there quietly - but can not talk about stuff I enjoy and in some cases share "horror" stories :)

For me - running / kayaking / cycling.
Love different things about each and have met some really decent folk doing these things. Great thing is you go in without any baggage so it is a great chance to get to know a group of people who have no pre-conceptions about you :) Fresh start and all that...

Don't give up though - maybe see if you can find something like this too - and remember - on whatever you do - when you are asked if you would like to join them afterwards for a drink - say Yes and smile :)
I stupidly started off by saying No - talk about not learning from past mistakes.

Honestly Hypnotherapy or positive affirmations really help with self confidence, I've tried both and most people would see me as a very confident person, which I suppose I am in many ways.

    Hi formula1

Apologies for the cut and paste answer - I just posted this on another thread.
I'm not typing it all out again but I think most of it can be applied to anyone with a lack of confidence
