Understanding the Irish stock exchange

I'm wondering if any of you will help me by explaining some aspects of the Dublin stock market. I was/am looking at the print version of The Irish Times today. Here is the electronic version: http://www.irishtimes.com/business/markets/sharesindex.html

    1. What does the squiggle symbol mean next to Tesco, Icon and Diageo in the print edition? I assume it has something to do with the fact that these are listed on a different stock exchange, but what precisely is the meaning of the squiggle? It does not appear in the electronic version of The Irish Times. If it is because they are not Irish firms, why would they decide to list on the Irish stock exchange?

    2. What is the difference between 'Irish share prices - MM' and 'Irish share prices - IEX'? The print edition refers to the former as 'Dublin closing prices' and the latter as 'IEX Closing Prices', so is the MM market the traditional stock market?

    3. In 'Irish Share Prices-MM', American Intl Group is blank. What is the reason for this?

    4. Waterford Wedgwood is listed in The Irish Times but it is priced at 0.00, with a 12-month high of 0.01. Why is it still listed? (I had thought the firm was closed down and they were looking for a buyer)

    5. What do the '+ P/E ratio', '+ Div Yield', 'Mkt Cap' and 'Vol traded' mean? I assume the last means the number of shares traded yesterday and 'Mkt Cap' refers to the total value of the company based on yesterday's share price? But how is the Price/Earning ratio and 'Dividend Yield' calculated?

Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.
