yea i was wondering the same thing, i hear a lot of people doing their own flowers for their wedding.my mother is a horticulturist and she is willing to them for me.i dont know if i want to put so much pressure on the mother of the bride as its a stressful time as it is witout adding to it!!do you really save money by doing it this way.i have priced a few florists and to be honest their packages are crazy prices for flowers.also doing them yourself you can pick certain flowers that mite not be available to you in the florists package...has anyone done their own bouquets and church flowers,

    thanks:)

i up went up there early in the morning recently and priced stuff and while the flowers were very cheap buy the time we would have made up the arrangements it was about the same price as the florists, so for the sake of my sanity i decided to leave it to the professionals!!! LW florists in smithfield are the ones to go 2 :)

We looked at this option but found shopping around and keeping requirements simple lowered the pro-price to acceptable levels.

There's a little bit more to it than simply wrapping a length of ribbon around a bunch of roses so unless you've someone quite familiar with making bouquets and the like, you might find things falling to pieces / wilting on the day.
