BTEA in Athlone

    Hi Everyone

    I am currently getting BTEA which is payed into my account on a Thursday.

    What i would like to know is if anyone else in Athlone who is getting BTEA Did you get the 500 euro payment your supposed to get at the start of college to help with expences etc.

    I still have not received it which is badly needed .

    I finally got in contact with the lady in charge of looking after BTEA in Athlone after 3 weeks of dropping into a phoning the office and she basically said i'll get it whenever she gets around to doing it. I just get the impression she dos'nt care and hates her job which is not good if your a student in Athlone

    Just wondering if anyone else is having this problem, Thanks

    They're swamped
    Be grateful that your application has been approved and you are on it
    I'd guess they are approving other applications first and then will look at the proof of being registered letters and then you'll get your books money
