    bring money please
Registering for socs/clubs, you only need money, and knowledge of your name, email, and phone number. But I don't think you could forget those irrevocably.

For the actual registration, you just need to bring that survey you got sent out to you (and you need to have it filled in), and then it'll be handy to have your CAO number too... but not necessary.

Bring proof that you paid for your registration fee, just in case there are problems.

    Ok, thanks.
What about people who are going the route of paying only the €85, because they're sure they qualify for the grant?

Do we need photo ID and a letter saying that we're getting the grant?

Do you have to fill out those surveys they give you and bring them to registration?

They asked me for my PPS number last year, thought that was a bit strange. Anyone else get asked that?

I think I remember last year there was someone there to give out the survey again to anyone who forgot to bring theirs. So if you don't bring it, you'll probably be asked to fill it out again there

I'm pretty sure I wasn't. I was asked for my CAO alright so they could find me on the system, but I forgot to bring it so they were able to find me when I gave my name and phone number, address etc

Yeah, all the health science courses are based there. My tutor meeting is there too. I'll be there for Physio on the Friday.

My registration isn't until Friday so I won't meet anyone from my class till then so Freshers week won't be much going around not knowing anyone. :(

You should meet people from your course during the general orientation meeting and the course meeting

I did the same, like sent off the forms saying I was *sure* I would be qualifying for a grant and just paid €85 online. I then received an email maybe.. a week later? Saying I should print it out as a receipt. So I've printed that email and will bring it with my for registration on Tuesday morning.

Also... I'm bringing my receipt for paying photocopying too. I had to pay €85 into Trinity's account, so I'll bring that receipt too. AND on my letter from the German department, I was told to bring a passport photo. I'm gonna forget something, I know it :(

Is it much hassle if you forget the receipt of registration payment? I'm fairly sure I left it back in Cork.. Disaster

I didn't have the receipt for the 85 yoyo and they didn't ask.It came up automatically that it was paid so don't worry bout it.They didn't ask for evidence of grant app either. You probably sent in the forms to TCD already.
I feel like I am in paper overload and it will take the next 4 years just to decipher all the info I have gotten this week!!
