A couple of pals and myself are planning on going to Lahinch in early November for a weekend of learner surfing.

Having never surfed before, what are peoples opinion on going at that time of year? Far too cold? Just fine with a wet suit?

You'll be fine in a good wet suit.

Don't forget to wear a hood. November is not that bad febuary/march are much worse.

you'll need a 5mm wetsuit along with the aforementioned hood! Also, neoprene gloves and a pair of booties are an absolute must! Get all these things and you'll be surprised how comfortable you'll be :)
