Buying a new golf in Jan/Feb and wondering what the going rate is at the moment, how much are dealers giving away to shift cars? Got a 04' almera hatchback that i'll be trying to trade if i don't manage to offload it. any ideas on what i'll have to part with?? Cheers,

??? 6-8 weeks for factory order (or longer depending on whether the ferry is full enough to sail).

You'd be doing well to get 5-7% off the list price. No huge additional discount like earlier in the year as they are no longer overstocked.

If the Almera is in good condition and low enough mileage you might get a half decent trade in on it, dealers are crying out for decent used stock.
