Luke Slater has a shaved head these days if im correct?

Pity that the gig clashes with the Warp night, otherwise id probably go to it, itd be interesting to see what sort of a set he would play given the back catalogue he has.

No, he has actually grown his hair in recent years and now sports a kinda messy emo stlye haircut.

You can see it in this clip of him rocking the Awakenings festival in Amsterdam last weekend...

Shame you cant make it man. His Planetary Assault Systems Live show consists of both recent and older matierial. Its shaping up to be a great gig. Thanks for the comment

Havent found any recent PAS sets, to be honest I dont think there is any about. There was a set floating around recently alright that was labeled as a PAS live set but it was actually just a Luke Slater dj set. A lot of performers who play live dont like their sets to be recorded because they sometimes play unreleased stuff etc.

Berlin Duo Ancient Methods are playing alongside Planetary Assault Systems on the same night. here is page with a link to dj set they recorded earlier this year; its a very nice, kinda gritty sounding set and it got great reveiws on plenty of forums. Keep an eye on our blog for an upcoming interveiw with them in the next few days. hope you enjoy it (download link is just above tracklisting on that page)

We’re running a special group offer on online tickets over the next week, or while stocks last! With Eventelephant.com if you buy six tickets or more, it works out at €15 each as opposed to the standard online price of €18. This particular site is the lowest we know of for fees and charges, so it’s certainly a deal worth availing of.

Go to the ‘Buy Tickets’ link and choose a plan that suits you!

While online sales facilitate those that can’t get into town or who live outside Dublin, we do still encourage you to buy at Spindizzy, Road Records and City Discs if buying online is not your thing. Real deal physical tickets (carrying the distinctive PAS colour logo!) in each of these shops are €18 (incl. of each shop’s booking fee).

Thanks to those that availed of our group tickets offer, which ends
tonight. Even in today's economic climate, €15 for a show of this
quality in Dublin is a bargain we think, as many of you have let us
know! Ancient Methods interview on the way very soon!

I'm a big fan of Planetary Assualt Systems but have never seen a live PA from them, have seen Luke Slater many times and always rocked the place, not looking likely ill get back to Dublin for this but here's hoping.

Would be great of you can man. We don't want to talk too soon, but we do think this is a very special gig in the making - Planetary Assault Systems and Ancient Methods are both really on the boil at the moment.
It's not entirely clear if PAS will be touring live like this for too much longer either, as Slater may easily 'rest' this moniker again like he has done in the past, so it's good opportunity to catch it now. You've obviously been listening to his Planetary stuff over the years, like yourself there are a lot of older fans thinking of heading along too!

Hey guys, we just did an interview with Ancient Methods and posted it on our blog for anyone interested. It's their first ever interview and makes a good read!
