Smells from below

Im living now in a 3 bed duplex here in the Grove for 4 years, all been great....recently new neighbours have moved in below (2 bed apt) and the smells of spicy cooking etc etc suddenly coming thru the floor below are quite overwhelming....is this just another case of shoddy building work - as in sealing the 2 seperate…

Are you down near Superquinn on the lane up by any chance, we have noticed a crazy strong smell a few nights, especially last night, but I think that its the plants outside, it smells like really strong Garlic.
