Clonskeagh

Hey guys,

I've been told that Clonskeagh/Friarsland isn't too far from UCD. Though I have no idea where it is. People just tell me it's past certain college residencies which isn't much use to me as I've never lived on campus


So, from the No. 10 bus stop on campus, is Clonskeagh far or is back the other way? Near the Student Centre?

Basically, if you go out the exit where the water tower is (it is a long road that runs alongside the pitches) you are in Clonskeagh - more or less.

The road and exit is over the student centre / health science building side of campus.

You go out the entrance behind the sports centre. I think these directions from google might help. It says 25 mins walking which is about right I'd say.

Clonskeagh is a little bit north west of campus, essentially up past student centre toward water tower, out the gate up there.

Friarsland is more south west, out the Roebuck road pedestrian gate, which is just past belgrove residences.

Moot point but....Clonskeagh is directly West (maybe a tiny bit WSW) according to that map, pay no attention to where it says Clonskeagh is, it's at the end of Bird Avenue

Head directly out the gate with the SU and water tower on your right. Turn left outside and keep walking down the road(maybe 1-2mins) until theres a garage/car wash on your right. Friarsland is directly beside that garage, they sell sheds and stuff(odd i know) but you can't miss it. Very easy to get to seeing as theres only the one turn at the UCD gate.
