    Evening all,

Am just wondering what I should expect to pay for a basic website, 3 - 4 pages with no complicated back-end or shopping cart. Will require two or three email address with it. I've no graphics but am not looking for anything too fancy. Any graphics will be used on stationary also.

    Thanks.

Depends on the developer tbh. Anything from €200-€300 is what I'd charge.

    450-500 euro is reasonable

How long is a piece of string?

You can probably get prices ranging from a couple of hundred euro to several thousand, depending on who you ask ...

I know you only want a simple logo, but you're effectively looking to get someone to design your corporate branding as well. I don't know if that's something I would skimp on.

Websites should never be priced 'per page' or designed in that way. Ideally, you should describe your business and your goals to a consultant who will then come up with the most suitable solution based on your needs.

In terms of how much it will cost you - for a standard brochure site expect to pay at least €2,000 to have it professionally coded and designed. If you value your brand and image is important you will have to pay to get professional quality work delivered.

For larger sites I would avoid anyone offering to do everything for a few hundred euro, but in your case around €500-600 for a one page website would be what you should be aiming for.

I would personally recommend the following web designers/developers:

    Forbairt media - http://www.forbairt.ie
    Together web - http://www.togetherweb.ie
    Spartix Solutions - http://www.spartix.ie

    Good luck with it.

Its all about who you ask. Everybody's prices are all different. A good browse around to compare prices would be a good idea.
