this may have been covered already...... but driving out toward the airport on the M50 at the weekend (from N4 junction) I noticed all the new speed limit signs are 100Km/h, they are currently sprayed over with grey paint as the works 60Km/h ones are still up, but you can make out the speed.

Will the M50 all be 100Km/h when finished?

I read a while ago that the speed limit would be reduced because the new lanes are narrower than before. Could be wrong though.

Quite apart from the fact that there is already an M50 thread this topic has been discussed ad nauseam previously.

On a side note to this, some of the new 100Km/h signs arent covered anymore, so its going from 60, to 100 and to 60 again.

Junctions 3-14 will be 100 km/h (the speed limit is even lower between J1-3, but I can't remember what). J14-17 remain 120 km/h

There isn't a Junction 1 or two on the M 50. They were intended to be around Coolock and Baldoyle before this section was abandoned and replaced with the now N 32 :)

The M50 starts at the Dublin Port Tunnel, thats J1. Coolock is J2, and m50/M1 is J3 ;)

I think its 80kph on the stretch
