Hey Guys.i've recently bought an Audi A4 and now im selling it on again.

I was wondering if anyone knows anywhere that supplies, fits and sprays bodykits.

I know where I can buy the kit and I know guys that are in the spraying business but what I want to do for handyiness is,Bring the car somewhere that will do all of the above.

Im based in the North-West?Can anyone help?

Not worth doing, proper job will cost €1500 to €2000, you would be better of selling it without, some like the RS4 kit some dont, id say you will have a bigger potential market without on account of you been able to sell the car cheaper.

the kit only costs €519.00,where do they charge another €1000 to spray and fit it?

you can buy them here: http://www.carsnparts.ie/AUDI-A4-RS4-BODY-KIT-KIT001-pid4459935/

Just sell it as is. You won't make the €1500+ you spend on the kit back in the price of the sale, so you'll be basically throwing €1500 away.

try to keep it revelant.i didn't start this thread for opinons on whether to sell it with a kit or not,i simply asked if anyone knew where you could get a kit fitted.

Why not just get a couple of cans of spray paint and spray it yourself? Probably almost as good a job as you'd get done for less than €1,000

Its not that, its just i didn't set this thread up for people to express their sense of humour. You might find something more to your liking on After Hours.;)

tbh, usually people who buy kits for their cars and the like never make the money back when they do go to sell it.
    Save your money

if you read the orignal post,im not looking for advice on whether to sell it with a kit.

The regulars here mostly like cars, so we're not the best source for advice on how to blow €2K making your car into a rolling joke.

Shouldn't this be moved to the modified car forum?

Everyone here likes cars and is understandably aghast at you putting an RS4 kit on an a4.

You will find some like-minded folk on the modified cars forum.

OP no need to be so aggressive everyone's just trying to save you some money. No matter how bad an RS4 diesel etc looks doing it to make money on resale doesn't make economic sense :o

Just take a look at the orignal post,i didn't ask for advice on whether to spend money on the car,i was looking for advice on somewhere that will fit and spray a bodykit.Aren't you the same guy that had his S-Max depreciate by 50% in less than 2 years?Smart Move:rolleyes:

i apolgise if i come across as aggressive,it's just frustrating to set up a thread and everyone who replies don't answer the question your asking but rather give their opinons on what your doing. If it should be on the Mod Cars then the Mods can feel free to move it.

Maybe take a look through the Original Post.

OK, I reread it, and I notice that you've edited it to delete the bit where you think adding an RS4 kit will help you sell the car!

your correct.the reason I removed that part was so people wouldn't get confused as to why I started the thread.I didn't set it up looking for advice on Selling the car.

Moved to Modified Cars. Now lads let's keep in mind the forum this is now in, so you can leave the whole "bodykits are rubbish" etc out of it.

It's fairly simply,i was orignally looking for advice on where you could get a Bodykit fitted and sprayed. It was moved from Motors to Modified Cars as the lads in Motors just wanted to give their opinons on Bodykits.Do you understand the thread or would you like me to explain it in further detail?;)

Have you checked out some of the NI based websites like jon44w and really mean sounds ?
They might be better able to help you waste your money locally.

Hey Guys.i've recently bought an Audi A4 and now im selling it on again.
Lads, if he wants to piss away his money, leave it to him.

OP, most of the people here who mod their car do it as that's what they like doing. They also plan to keep the car after they modify it. It's unknown why you wish to modify and sell it straight away, as the modification will either add no resale value to it, or diminish the price futher. The lads who mod their cars often don't care about the resale value when modding it.

It'd be best if you said what your location was. No use in people telling you of a place in Cork, if you live in Dublin.

Finally, from what I've seen, "bodyshops" which deal with modified cars have a tendancy to charge top dollar (well, the one near me does, anyhoos), so if you want one that not only fits the kit for you, but also sprays it, you can forget about gettting it done cheaply. Why? Because a chaep job most often looks cheap. And after spending money on the kit, the spray, etc, you don't want it to look cheap.

That's cool. The reason I wanted the location was, well, a bodyshop in Down may be a bit far from your location. Good luck on your venture.
