Firstly What do I need to start up a company in Ireland ie tax/registrations of names etc??

Secondly in order for a company to sell door to door do they need any qualification or license??

Thanks for your help as I'm just starting on my business way!!

    Hi readytorock

Setting up a company may not be the best option as they are more costly to run and control.

I have come across many people who have been advised to set up company's in the past before they had an established business. They spent a lot of money trying getting rid of them and shut them down.

A formation agent, accountant or solicitor should be able to get one set up for you, register it for taxes and first annual return for about €300 plus VAT.

I would recommend setting up as a sole trader initially unless there is a specific reason that you require a company.

I am not sure about your second question.

    Kind Regards
