Is someone who works for a company who are involved with administration for the catholic church obliged to attend a mass that gets held in the workplace (during office hours), even if they are not religious themselves? They feel like they are expected to and because of this are worried about saying noand might be looked upon unfavourably.

Also...Is it legal for a manager to give a person a verbal warning for discussing work related matters with other colleagues without first consulting their manager. The verbal warning was given by the manager to employee on the basis that it "undermines the managements authority".

This isn't for me by the way..I'm grand! :)
    Thanks lads.
