    hi-
when reversing round a corner do you have to indicate? i've been to 2 different instructors and they had different views.
also, once I was reversing round a corner on an incline and my instructor said to just use the clutch and the brake and let it roll back, would this be considered coasting and in case i get that turn during the test, is it allowed?

    Thanks in advance

No - there is no need to indicate as a reversing vehicle has no right of way and must give way to all other vehicles.

No, it wouldn't be considered to be coasting. If you are reversing down an incline, there's not much else you can do!

NO as your indicator is only to show your intention when needed. In the same way your reverse lights show your intention when reversing.

When in first or reverse gear, there is no such thing as coasting it is clutch control. So you can use/ride the clutch as much as you NEED.

Apologies for being pedantic but there is no legal requirement to have reversing lights fitted to a vehicle, therefore it cannot be assumed that a reversing vehicle will have them illuminated.
