    hi there,just looking 4 a bit of advice, yest a silage contractor was cutting silage 4 a farmer up the road, crossing up and down the main road outside my house,about 7pm i heard a bang and a tractor was stopped outside an entrance gate to my garden after knocking down a telephone pole,destroying a lot of new expensive hedging that was planted on the ditch which he mounted,also cracked one of the entrance walls,had to ring eircom myself this morning to replace pole,tractor driver left the scene within a hour,tried to ring contractor all day 2day,no answer!! lives bout 30 miles away,should i report this to gardai?am i entitled to claim for damages done. thanks

    Report to Gardai, talk to a solicitor also. No advice available.
