Hey I have a friend from the states who wants to come to the UK or Ireland to study an LLM in commercial law.
As this is not my field, I would be grateful of any indicators as to where the best colleges are to do this?

My opinion is that an LLM is not much use unless you are intending to pursue an academic legal career.

I did an LLM in Human Rights and Criminal Justice law and in hinsight it was absolutely of no benefit.

But if your friend really wants to I would go to UCD.

So you think that UCD is the best Commercial Law LLM in the UK and Ireland?

There's plenty better in the UK. This site is useful.

Sorry i did not read you first post properly. I thought that you meant just Ireland.

I don't know too much about the UK. But Kings College London Or Nottingham have a good record. Also Cambridge/Oxford if possible...
