Yes, great to hear. If she stays healthy she will be there or thereabouts in Santry.

On a similar theme, Martin Fagan is back in action too at the weekend in the Great North Run.

Does any know for definite what Fagan's fitness is like? He seemed crocked at the Nationals in Santry and yet he is racing a little over 6 weeks later. I would have concerns that he will not be in 100% nick come Santry in December. I appreciate he has obligations to sponsors/race contracts and has to make a living from the sport but winning a big area champs (like Euro cross) on homesoil doesn't come around too often and if he was 100% come December he could be a contender for gold. There never seems to be a discernible plan or structure to his racing. That may be unfair as I don't know him or his setup but from the outside it seems like the championships aren't a focus.

thats great news about Cullen, she has had such bad luck with injuries,

on Fagan I wouldnt expect him to improve on his Irish record, as he's in full marathon training mode, a soild 61.40-62flat will be a good showing,

I don't know the guy at all but I did have a chat with him on the Sunday of the nationals and he seemed very down regarding running and at that stage he said he was out of the Euros, obviously the day after isn't the best time to comment on an injury but I'm very surprised to see he's back.
