    TV3 thursday 17th september.

An insight into the bloody 51-day siege in Waco, Texas, in 1993 which culminated in a tragic joint raid by the FBI and ATF on the headquarters of cult leader David Koresh's extreme religious group the Branch Davidians. First-hand accounts include the testimonies of negotiator Byron Sage, undercover agent Robert Rodriguez, and British cult member Derek Lovelock.

Will anyone be watching this? I am going to as this has to be one of my favourite conspiracy "theories" of all time. I wonder if they'll show the compelling footage shot by local TV stations covering the story at the time.

Yeah, Waco is pretty interesting. The authorities set it on fire, I reckon.

I'll have to give this a gander. Don't remember much details about it at all. I remember assuming at the time that the fire was started by the authorities, but accidentally (like some sort of breach charge started it, or something) and that since it ended up in a massacre, there was no reason to assume responsibility and make themselves seem even more incompetent.

The early footage of wako is no-longer on the web as far as I can see. It used to be over at sacred cow productions and has (recently?) been removed.

I guess it's too much to ask TV3 to go find it, or maybe they will. Can't wait!
