    The toll of playing at the top level takes on their bodies is amazing. The average life expectancy of an average american male is 75. The average life expectancy of an NFL player with 10 seasons of 'wear and tear' is between 53 and 59!!!
    The average NFL player plays just 3.52 seasons and loses two to three years off his life expectancy for every season played.
