    Hi,
My Dad has B6 Passat. I've done the below on my cars in the past but I've a few questions before I put my head under the bonnet of the Passat - I'm also aware that things which are easily done on a car a few years old are not so easily done nowadays - deliberately arkward by the manufacturers I'd say.

    1. Where is the Cabin/Pollen Filter - I assume this in the usual place at the back of the engine at the firewall on the passengers side. Is it easy enough to get too?

    2. Air Conditioning filters. Is this behind the glove box and if so how do I get to it, does the box come out or is there a section at the back of the box that opens.

    Thanks in advance.

I think the pollen filter will be found under the bonnet, alongside the battery tray under the windscreen...
