    Won 4-0 against opposition who'd never really played together. Got into our swing in the second half. Fair play to newbies for all showing up, was especially impressed by Conor upfront. Never stopped running and played a peach of a pass for my goal. Good run out anyway!

    Sorry for the poor turn-out lads. I had 15 yesterday afternoon and 11 at 3pm today, it all fell apart and as a result we were badly fractured. I know it would have served both teams better for us to have had a regular team out but I figured a mixed team was better than no game at all.

    All in all I wasn't overly disappointed, given the team we had out I expected to lose, but some of the lads that showed for us where decent enough. Just need to get them used to a) playing on astro & b) playing as a team

    Fitness really told in the second half with some of our lads really struggling badly, unfortunately we didn't have that bit of composure required to hold possession and slow the game down. You really exploited that in the last 15/20 minutes.

    Normal service resumed next week anyway :D
