    Is it worth the trip?

They seem to have pretty good bundles.

We have a shopping list of xbox360, ps3 and DSi for xmas.

    PS3 slim with a game (various) £249.99

xBOX360 Elite with two games (various) £199.99

DSi with accessory pack and 1 game (various) £149.99

Worth the trip from Dublin - from what I have seen so far down here it probably is.

Probably would be worth the trip. Even it's a saving of a couple of quid but at least you're making a saving.

If I had the opportunity I would try it out.

What do you have to lose apart from petrol?

Yeah, there are some very good deals in the UK on consoles/games. I'm going to hold off buying one until GT5 comes out in the hope somewhere will give the game away for free with the console.

I checked their online store and was able to order a PS3 slim with a game (Call of Juarez) for £252.94, it does appear like they will send to Ireland as it was £249.99 for UK and £3 additional postage to here. I went through the entire order process up until confirming it. But at the start it did say.
Unfortunately we are unable to ship orders weighing over 1kg (e.g. most hardware) overseas - please either select UK delivery, or delete hardware from your basket to enable an overseas delivery.
But it did allow me to go on.

In the other slim thread people said sendit.com allowed you order only to then email you saying you cannot get it. I now see sendit are jersey based so you would be hit for customs anyway. But can anybody confirm if game.co.uk will send a console to Ireland and that it will ship from the UK? (so no vat & duty).

I might email them. Lots of bundles available.

I took that 1kg message asmeaning they will not send it to Ireland.
