Was planning on getting some camo this week, but dont know where to buy it. I know people have recommended Felcktarn.co.uk, but I really dont want to buy something without making sure it fits and is what I want.

Are there any shops in dublin that supply felcktarn or other camo?

I was in the Army shop off Capel street the other day, but their selection wasnt the best.

    Thanks in advance.

I normaly get my camo from http://www.redforces.com/catalog/index.php adn http://www.soviet-propaganda.com/.

Most of the stuff i;ve seen in dublin is over priced. The cut on most bdus is normal very good so as long as you know your size getting something that fits is not really a problem the prices you can get online makes it worth while.

Go for Flecktarn - they have a good sizing chart on the site. Their stuff in genuine and will take a lot of wear and tear. Most of the new stuff you'll see in Army Bargains is copies whereas the new stuff on Flecktarn is real army gear.

We've had this thread before and as usual Flecktarn came up tops, apparently On Patrol have great multicam too.

So online is the way to go?

I'm not sure how the sizing works though on Flecktarn. They have 38R, 39L etc. for shirts and 33L, 35R etc. for trousers. All I'm used to is getting a medium shirts and a 30/32 waist, 34 leg!

This is why I like trying things on before I buy. :D

Yes but for the price of a pair of knock off DPM trousers from Army Bargains, you could get a full set of genuine issue DPM (trousers, shirt and boonie) for the same price from Flecktarn and the shiping only takes like 4 days.

    http://www.thecamoshop.ie/

Bought Helikon pants of their in multicam and they are brilliant. Proper licensed patterns with high quality materials.

I busted the crotch outa so many trousers but these look bulletproof.

If I want some cheap **** I use bidchart, an ebay shop who have never let me down but not everyone has had that experience.

I'd say go with the camo shop, all licensed ****, good quality, and you know, support irish retailers.

I buy my modern US stuff from opsgear (Tru-Spec), my Vietnam era US stuff from here, and my British modern stuff from british military surplus. I'll get around to some WW2 british stuff from soldier of fortune at some point too.

I really wanna get some CADPAT camo. I know they have some on Flecktarn but the sizes aren't great. I need a 30/32 waist ,but on Flecktarn the S/M only have 30 legs. I need a 32 leg. If anyone knows anywhere with sizes like this please let me know!

That can be down to the fact they are cut to the boot and wouldn't usually be as long as a typical pair of trousers so they'll still fit ya. :)

Hah yeah... Most bdus are cut straight down... with absolutely no give for hips... end up with baggy pants that dont fit right just to get ones that will fit on. (and then they need belts)

Best bet is try Dpm hon, its a lot more forgiving in cut, and is designed for women and men... unlike us cut which is for men only really...
