using cleats and pedals

    hi all i invested in some Look Keo pedals and cleats and have used them a few times i got the shop to set them up in the neutral position. However i am finding it that when i cycle my legs are getting much more sore especailly my knees and the area around them, im wondering is it because my feet are more straight than when i was using toe clips. I am finding them great so far but am hoping its just my muscles getting used to the new position. I have the bike setup right as per bike fit measurements.

    Perhaps the "neutral position" is not for you.

    Cheers Lumen if i want to move my feet slightly out do i move the cleats in a little. As i said i dont know is it cleat position or just my feet need to get used to been more straight and maybe im using slightly different muscles around my knees

    You need to set up your cleats properly. This is a personal thing, the neutral position is just a starting point. You shouldn't be forcing your feet into an unnatural position, IMO.

    Have a read around (e.g. here and here, and Google) or go to someone who knows what they're doing, e.g. IrishFit.

    Don't mess around with knee pain!
