Bought a (you guessed it) 1994 Toyota Corona 2.0D auto with 346k Klms at auction there not so long ago for the sum of €250, serviced it myself and it became a gang-bang of diffrent parts from various other Carina's ive had.
Think the only part i put in new was drop links for €16 each

So off i go to the NCT centre whilst looking in the window at it being tested all the thoughts off what could/is/might going to fail on washes through the head, finally my number gets called it failed :( on a corroded brake pipe and.. thats it :D safe enough to drive away but will have to be tested again, went to my local mecanic said he'd do the job for €60 :D So the re-test is next Monday.

So i will have a road legal car for 2 years for less than €330 :p

They're a very good car, and have a far simpler rear suspension than the Carina E, friend has one (anther Carinaphile) and finds the 2.0D Select lighter on fuel than this Carina E D-Turbo manual.

The fact that you are calling your car a 'him' is testament to this fact :pac:
