That looks like one of those dodgy marketing job where you calling around house to house selling stuff. I would be wary of this place.

Can you offer me some evidence of why this is dodgy? links on boards with responses to similar ads?

First of all if you do a search for the company on cro or http://www.solocheck.ie you cant find any trace of the company. There was a thread on boards but a lot of the company names on it were deleted but it was on it. I also saw the ad for proteadirect a few weeks ago and it was using a yahoo email address. They have no website. It sounds to good to be true. So based on this alone for me if just smell of dodgyness :)

Im not trying to be bad im just saying it as i see it. I suppose you have nothing to lose by going to it. You will either post back here proving me wrong and saying woohoo i got a job or else you can post back here and warn people about going for an interview with them. So its win win.

This is more than likely a door-to-door sales position as the add says it does sales face-to-face with their target audience......I wouldnt bother if i were you but like the other poster said, it will do no harm if you still want to go to interview and see what they say but i would be surprised if it was a decent position being offered. Just be wary....best of luck

Hey - apologies if this is a bit late, interviewed with the same company in Galway a few weeks back(Have seen them advertising in Waterford also) - basically interview will last about 5 minutes, you will need to fill out an application form first, then you will meet one of the managers who will go through the application form, and ask what you can bring to the company etc, all being well you will then be invited to a 2nd interview/observation day, where you will spend 5/6 hours in the field with one of the reps.....

Oh - it will be door to door sales for sure to start off with....

    Brgds
    Johnny
