    Hellooo!

I'm looking for a good gaming chair for my boyfriend but haven't a clue where to start. I'm looking for one that is compatible with PS3, but that can also be used for movies and music. I also want it to be wireless and compatible with a HDMI TV and if possible under the €150 mark! My boyfrined is 6' 3" so it would also have to be fairly big and comfortable! I've been looking at ones in Argos, PC World and on Ebay but am not sure which are the best. If anyone had any suggestions for a good brand or model, that would really help me out!

    Thanks!

IMO gaming chairs are useless junk with crappy speakers built-into them.

The best gaming chair is a giant bean-bag & good pair of headphones if you don't have a good sound system. Comes in all shapes and sizes and are extremely comfortable as they will adjust to your shape.

Saw a great bean bag in harvey norman with a headrest perfect for gaming,

don't waste money on gaming chair they aint great and there usually too small, id be about the same size as your fella (height wise!)

But perfect for gaming really would be a nice big lounger chair with the foot rest that pops out "perfect".

If it was me id rather have the big comfy lounger style chair (these are very expensive)

But if your in dublin budda bag near jervis st would be perfect expensive and comfy for any size person, nice surround sound or really good wireless headphones would be perfect.

I found that the one accessory (aside from the HDTV) that really upped my enjoyment of my PS3 was a surround sound system. If a gaming chair doesn't work out a 5.1 system is definitely the way to go.

It works especially well with horror games and films when you can hear noises/voices coming from behind you!!

I have to agree with ongarite most gaming chairs are awful things. I used to pull the couch in front of the tv when I wanted to do some gaming but a while back the missus got the chair below from Ikea and it's fantastic. Extremely comfortable and of course you get the benefit of a normal chair when you're not gaming.
