    mineral /salt licks .

    if you have them down 24/7 .365 days a year for years they might improve trophy quality after years of use.

    as allure to draw deer to a stand or high seat they will work short term ,as deer have a very well developed brain and will not stand about like sheep to be shot.

    in short a waste of time.
