To be honest ebay is probably the best place to go, you can get second hand consoles or also you'll see fc twin snes consoles which are new machines that will play both super nintendo and nintendo games.

Goatstore.com and collectorscardsandgames.com are great sites as well but you'd want to be buying a few games at a time for it to make sense as the shipping is expensive.

Started collecting myself about 3 years ago and built up a collection of 140 games, its kind of addictive, haven't been buying games in a while because ive been trying to get through them all ( well the good ones anyway).

Best of luck and i hope the snes bug catches you too!

Well Sega Sammy are pimping out their old tech like there's no tomorrow to get a bit of cash. Nintendo unfortunately are a lot more protective of their property and unless they start haemorraging money, which is highly unlikely, then they won't start any time soon. You can get some chinese clones, there's even one that plays SNES and NES games but the build quality isn't even exactly insured.

I don't personally own a FC twin but from what ive heard there reliable enough, to be honest though the originals are fairly bullet proof bar the controllers giving up every once in a while but they are much sturdier than the sega ones( I've one controller a little worse for ware but still working while my friend who started collecting sega around the same time has gone through about 10).

Go for a second hand snes and you won't be dissappointed
