what were your criteria when choosing the kit?

CK3100 can be troublesome, but is very popular. personally I wouldn't.

The parrot is more popular but the bury will have unique new software in the coming month where 2 phones can be paired at the same time there is also a new model bury due to be released the bury crystal

I have the Ck3100 parrot. It can be troublesome depending on the phone but they apply fixes to the firmware and that often ends the issue. For example, the nokia 6300 worked nicely with the kit, but the nokia E51 was a pig and they constantly lost comms until I upgraded the parrot by bluetooth on laptop.

By far the biggest issue for me is sound quality. No problems me hearing anyone as I have that linked to my car speakers and it is great but it uses a cheap microphone which picks up all sounds and customers regularly complain about the sound quality from my end. I am told it sounds like I am in a tin can (I am really but you know what I mean). Location of mic is supposed to help but it is located in various locations on various cars in the company fleet and everyone has the same issue. Anyone with the nokia kits have far superior sound.

The reason... the parrot is just a comms device between the phone and speakers/mic. It is constantly exchanging info with the phone. Confused yet? The nokia kits become the effective phone. The phone links initially, transfers data and the kit acts as if it has the SIM card included using it's own aerial. It becomes the phone device and then uses it's software to apply sound enhancement. This is on the nokia site if you think this is waffle.

If you are using a nokia and do not plan on changing to any other make then buy a nokia kit. Otherwise think carefully about parrot or similar. Yes I know you have narrowed it down to parrot or bury but the nokia is worth a look. Sound quality is most important if you are a heavy user.

Note: Some of the latest nokia kits with screen look like GPS units and look like a nice steal for the odd thief.
