    Hey everyone,

I'm taking charge of the trad deptartment of DCU Music Society this year so just wondering who would be interested in a good trad session regularly. I want to get a regular slot in a pub where we can have a good session and a few pints.

If you know you will like it, think you might like it, or especially if you play an instument of sing then let me know and I can put you on the mailing list to receive updates on upcoming events and stuff.
It doesn't matter if you can play an instument or not (though it would be great if you did!)

    Seriously trad is unreal craic!

    Talk to you soon.

    Ross Hannon

    Trad Officer
    DCU Music Soc

Nah...I'm not really pimping the Music Soc. I'm just asking people if they are interested in Trad...there's a difference...I hope!

Are you some sort of vigilante moderator?:p

Is there a strong trad presence in DCU? Where do ye play?

There hasn't really been, in the past but we're trying to get it up and running this year if we can get enough people interested.

    Do you play?

I do, but not much lately. Mostly because it's becoming more difficult to find somewhere to play and people my age to play with. Might keep an eye on the Music Soc so. Let me know if any plans develop. :)
