    Hi

I got my timetable today On Wednesday/Thursday/Friday I have lectures at 9am. At the moment I am waiting on my grant so I havent got to much money for accomodation. Does anyone know if there is a private bus service from the Longford/Carrick direction towards Sligo to get me there for 9 or before? The only other alternative I have would be a hostel/B&B, would anyone know if there are any near Sligo IT?

    Regards,
    Darren

What about the train, what's the earliest that will get you into Sligo? Don't know of any private buses on that route, does Bus Eireann not get you in Sligo in time.

I'm not sure of names of B&B's but I think there is some sort of accommodation on the road towards town if you going up by the hospital, there is also a B&B opposite the entrance to Yeats Village, that probably the closet one I can think of, don't know any names though.

Earliest bus arrives at 12pm, earliest train arrives at 10:10. I guess I'll just have to pass my driving test soon.

McGowans bus service runs from Carrick to Sligo everyday. It leaves Carrick at 07:45 at Murtaghs and will be at the I.T at around 9, sometimes before 9 and sometimes after 9 depending on traffic...

Hi is this bus still running? Does it go through Ballyfarnon?

As far as I know, the service is still running. No, it doesn't go through Ballyfarnon, you would have to get yourself to Drumshambo, Carrick or Boyle. Give them a ring to make sure.
