I'm heading that direction at 5.00 for my commute home. Well from Finglas to Ratoath anyway.

I can't hang around either. My wife's going to the gym later and I've to mind the kids.

I'm guessing you're heading out by Cappagh Hospital and going the back roads via Kilbride, just bear in mind that there'll be a lot of traffic on that road around 6ish and it's narrow enough. I understand it's a nicer cycle that the N2 (Old N2) but you have a hard shoulder most of the way. I usually go the N2 because of this.

whatever you do, avoid the Phoenix park, it's packed with concert go-ers ... meh.
