    Hi Everyone,

To cut a long story short, I was badly hurt by an ex a couple of years ago. I thought I had gotten over it but a few months ago I met a really nice guy who seemed interested. We havent managed to meet again because of commitments on both sides but I have gotten to thinking that its just not meant to be. So I told him this and although he said that he still wanted to meet up for a date I just said I'd prefer to be friends.

I'm not sure why I did this cos I can't stop thinking about him now, I'm not sure what to do, should I ring him up and tell him that I was being silly or should I just leave it and move on.

    Any advice much appreciated.

Regardless of the effect your old break-up is having on your new situation, you guys met "a few months ago" and haven't managed to get together again since. My "meant-to-be" alarm bells would be going off too! ;)

Give him a ring, see how the land lies. If you like him so much, he's worth another shot ... and if he likes you back, take it from there.

    Good luck
