MMA League Kilkenny 2009 Results

    Another cracking MMA League in the books! 138 fights in Kilkenny, the largest event in the League's 6 year history. I have to say, I never thought I would see the day when the league would be this big, if it gets any bigger we will be a weekend event next year :)
    Results are pasted below and will be uploaded to the table sduring the week. Registration for Dublin will open on Monday the 21st of September.
    Before we get to the results however, there are as always a troupe of folks I have to thank, without whom the League could never have happened:

    Clive and Colm for their calling it right down the middle all day long (40 odd matches straight is no easy taks, but these guys made it look that way)
    Miles and all the Kilkenny crew for helping organising everything from First Aid to the final venue and ushering on the day.
    Derek for keeping fighters coming to me all day long
    Larry, Chris and the Dragon's Lair crew for the use of their amazing facility

    A very big thanks to the FightLord crew for their continued support and enthusiasm for the League, making the League's continued existence possible.

    Lastly and most importantly to all the fighters and coaches, who gave up our first un-rainy Saturday in months to make the trek to Kilkenny, put up with my stressed head at the event, and put on the finest display in amateur MMA seen in some time.

    The League is back on the 21st of November, more information will be released here and through the site.

    Not that my word counts or anything but I was talking with Stepen Walsh's brother earlier and he is 100% sure he got the decision.
