    Hi all,

I am hoping to purchase the above car from a UK dealer for £6,990. Its the exact model i want (110bph). The dealer is not giving any bit on the price. Ive caluclated the VRT and all in should be about 10k. Does anyone have any thought is this a good price. Was hoping he would at least give me a few quid off to get the RAC done. Anyway thanks in advance, as this is my first post

To be honest, i could see you getting the same car for practically the same cost over here, there are a few foci diesels on carzone for ~€10k and when you factor in transport yata yata yata...

Used cars prices are actually rising in the UK, and seeing as the focus is the most popular car over there, its safe to assume that its value is rising too. This may explain ahy the dealer wont budge on price. He knows that he can actually get £7K for it.

    Welcome to Boards btw!:)

I'd shop around here first and compare prices. If you take exchange rate, travel and warranty into consideration you might find it works out better to buy here. I think the savings on going to the UK to buy popular models such as the Focus are very small these days.
