    hi,
i'm looking to buy some dollars , so i want to get the best rate available but i can't find out what the bank's exchange rates are for certain branches. I mean , i would probably have to ring up each bank just to get their current rate. Is there a quicker way of doing this by going to a website to compare the rates amongst various irish banks so as to get the best rate possible??

AFAIK, there's no such site in existence at the moment. You'll probably have to ring round your local branches to find out who's cheapest on the day you plan to buy.

www.currency.ie often offer better rates then the main banks.

I think that site only offers money transfer to overseas bank accounts, not a bureau de change.
