    I'm based in Galway and looking to join a band/collaborate with a singer. I'm 21 and have been playing guitar for around 9 years.

    Influences:

    Jeff Buckley,The Smiths,Jimi Hendrix,Led Zeppelin,John Frusciante, The Meters, Lou Reed,Bob Dylan,Chili Peppers, Beatles,Otis Redding, Rolling Stones etc.

    Hi there, loved your tributes to Girl Afraid and Some Girls. Sticking with the Girl theme, you could always cover Moz's Girl Least Likely To, albeit it was written by Andy Rourke (I think) and not by Johnny Marr.

    It's a shame you're based in Galway... I'm trying to put together something in Dublin and would have loved another Smiths fan on board. Good luck anyway.

    Hi,

    My mates organising open mic in the western bar on tues nights, hes into acoustic folk bits, old and new. I've played upright bass with him there recently, its a nice quiet atmosphere. hes hoping to get different musicians together, might interest you? Its handier than jamming since you've a PA and you don't need to be quiet!
